Room 203 Price Range $159-$259 This bright room occupies the Southeast corner of the first floor affording it abundant sunlight. Bradbury & Bradbury paper adorns the ceiling with shades of blue, tan and soft rust tones. The elegant Queen metal bed with matalasse coverlet faces the natural gas/coal replica fireplace. The carved mantel and over mantel display the original ceramic tile décor. The en suite bathroom has curved windows flanking the pedestal sink, original stained glass windows with sunburst patterns and a large shower. The slate blue walls and rust, tan and blue area rug invite you to curl up with a good book, sit in front of the fire or watch the city through the expansive Victorian double hung windows.
Room 205 Price Range $159-$259 Located on the first floor, this quiet room was originally the dining room and still contains the swinging door to the butler’s pantry – now the en suite bathroom with pedestal sink and round shower. The cherry four-poster Queen bed with matching nightstands is tucked into the spacious alcove. The natural gas/coal replica fireplace has stylized sunburst patterns carved in the original mantel which compliments the sunburst stained glass window found on the West wall of the room. Sage green walls and soft gray wainscoting give this room an air of elegance and sophistication.
Room 206 Price Range $159-$229 This Southwest corner room on the second floor is the favorite for those guests wanting to sleep late, but the late afternoon sun pours into this delightful room making it the ideal place to curl up on the daybed to read, relax and nap. The hand painted corner desk enables business travelers to work comfortably. The deep teal walls and lighter teal ceiling make this room soothing and serene.
